Space Invaders sound

Firstly I did not have a shooting sound for when the missiles were fired. This has now changed due to me creating a firing sound for the missile.

The sound was originally a gunshot. I have edited it and made it more high pitched to sound like a laser gun shooting. I did this by heightening the pitch and adding a slight echo.

I have now added background music. It is catchy and upbeat and I find it fits well with my game. I had trouble at first implementing it to the room without it being interrupted by other sounds. Now the background music works with the sound effects.

The sound is at a medium pitch and fast paced. The original sound was very high pitched and slow which I thought didn't fit with my game.


There is now an explosion sound when the player dies and the death menu shows. After this the game will restart after the player dies.

There are two explosion sounds.
1: Is when the missile hits the alien and it blows up.
2: When the player dies.
